Datenschutz (Englisch)

Your information at Open Hours.

This notice covers the public website, the Open Hours app, enquiries and the information used to operate your Open Hours account and music subscription. It applies from 1 November 2026.

What the enquiry form collects

The form asks for your email address. You can also provide your name, business type, country or area, preferred reply language and a message. We store the request type, submission time, interface language, privacy-notice version and a request reference to process it and avoid accidental duplicates.

Please do not include payment information or sensitive personal details. The form does not require an account and does not collect payment details. We do not add you to a newsletter when you send an enquiry.

How the information is used

We use your information to handle and reply to your request about the service. Request records also help us prevent repeated submissions and operate the enquiry service. We do not use your enquiry for advertising.

Enquiry and account records are held in a private database, not in publicly accessible website files. Access is limited to the people operating the service and its configured infrastructure providers. Service messages are not a newsletter signup.

Accounts, subscriptions and service messages

Supabase provides account authentication, our application database and private catalogue storage. We use your sign-in identity to connect your account, business and venue settings, favourites and schedules. If you choose Google sign-in, Google supplies the identity information used to authenticate you.

Stripe handles subscription checkout and billing management. We store references and subscription information needed to determine access and show your purchased terms. For service emails we also use the billing email supplied by Stripe. Resend delivers account-related service messages, including trial reminders, payment notices and cancellation updates. We store the message and delivery-processing reference to manage retries and support enquiries; a provider acceptance record is not proof of inbox delivery.

You can request access to or deletion of your account information from Account, or contact hello@musicforbusiness.ai. Requests are handled by Escalera Labs S.L.; billing records may need to be retained for applicable recordkeeping obligations. The enquiry retention period below concerns enquiry records, not a promise that all subscription records are deleted on the same schedule.

The Open Hours app

The Open Hours app for iPhone and Android is for businesses with an Open Hours account. Accounts are created on this website, not in the app. The app uses your email address and account identifier to sign you in.

To provide licensed playback and apply your plan’s stream allowance, the app records what plays and when. It also stores the venue details, playlists, likes, hidden songs and song reports you create. Song search text is used to run the search and is not stored.

Playback diagnostics stay on your device and are not uploaded. The app shows no advertising, does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and does not collect your location, contacts, photos, files or payment details. Information is sent to our servers over encrypted connections and processed on our behalf by the service providers named above. We do not sell it or share it with third parties for their own purposes.

To delete your account from the app, open Account and choose Delete account. You can also make the request on the website, as explained below.

Storage on your device

The optional day planner stores a draft in your browser only when you choose to save it. It does not publish a schedule to a business account. Clearing browser site data removes that local draft.

The local audio audition tool is development-only. It does not upload your selected file. Public previews, when available, are downloaded to your browser for playback.

Optional website analytics

If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics to measure public page visits, completed enquiries, preview playback and clicks on signup links. A signup-link click does not tell us whether you registered or subscribed. Google receives browser and device information, a cookie identifier, the public page address without its query string, and the referring website’s domain. We do not send your enquiry contents, email address, account identifier or local audio filenames to Analytics. Advertising features and automatic form tracking are disabled.

Analytics does not load before you accept or when you decline. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice at any time. We remember your choice for up to 180 days; accepting is optional and does not affect access to the website. Withdrawing consent stops future measurement and removes this site’s Analytics cookies, but does not erase data already received by Google.

Google processes analytics data on our behalf and may process it outside your country, including in the United States. See Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy for its processing and safeguards. Contact the operator below for questions or to exercise your data rights.

Retention and requests about your data

We keep enquiries for 90 days, after which they are removed. Account information is kept while your account is open and deleted when we complete an approved deletion request, apart from records we must keep, such as billing records.

To delete your account and the personal data linked to it, sign in on this website, open Account, go to Your account and data and submit a request for Deletion of my account and personal data. In the Open Hours app, open Account and choose Delete account. You can also contact the operator below. We review each request before deleting account or shared business records. You can also ask about, correct or request deletion of an enquiry, and your country’s data-protection rights may apply.
