Open Hours is an original-catalogue alternative, rather than another route to the same songs. Hear the music, check your venue's offer and test a working day before deciding to switch.

Start with the songs your venue needs

Soundtrack's product page describes artist and track search, custom playlists, ready-made business playlists and Spotify playlist transfer. If a particular artist or a recognisable set of songs is a requirement, assess that catalogue directly.

Open Hours supplies its own original recordings. Try First light for soft acoustic guitar, After the rush for relaxed jazz and Good energy for a more upbeat house direction. These examples help compare atmosphere; they do not reproduce Soundtrack's repertoire. A good fit means wanting this sound, rather than expecting the same artists after a switch.

Compare the actual playback setup

Soundtrack describes scheduling, platform apps and central controls for locations and user access. Check which equipment and plan support the arrangement you need.

The public Open Hours site leads into a browser workspace. Choose a station for continuous shuffled listening or a collection for an ordered sequence with a finite end. Save favourites and build a weekly schedule with gap music or special-date changes. Keep that workspace open, connected and on an awake device for scheduled playback. It cannot start a soundtrack on a closed laptop.

List your rooms before comparing subscriptions

A café using one soundtrack and a hotel running separate lobby and bar music have different needs. Count the locations, simultaneous programmes and staff who need to operate them before comparing a monthly bill.

Current Open Hours plans include one venue and one simultaneous stream. If separate areas need different music at the same time, contact us about that setup. Soundtrack describes music for different areas and central management; confirm the applicable plan, zone charges and controls with the provider.

Compare the whole offer, including local conditions

Compare Soundtrack's current price for your country and billing period alongside the number of locations and simultaneous programmes you need. Include the annual total, tax presentation and any relevant zone costs when comparing offers.

Open Hours offers monthly and annual billing. Create an account and enter the venue country to see the applicable price, licence and local conditions before checkout. The pricing page lists the countries with current offers. A plan's name or your browsing language does not establish permission for a different country or use.

Read country and use scope before switching

Soundtrack's licensing page directs businesses to country-specific information and its terms. Read the relevant material for your actual location rather than treating a general business-music description as the full permission record.

Open Hours' subscription includes permission for the supplied original catalogue and covered venue background use. Local conditions remain part of the offer. That permission does not automatically extend to other music sources, events, videos, broadcasts or another venue. Keep a separate note of any use outside the ordinary background soundtrack and ask about it before purchase.

Try a full working day with your own speakers

Hear the public samples first. If the original sound fits, create an account with email and password or Google, add your business name and venue country, then review the available offer. Current Open Hours plans have a seven-day trial with a card and renew automatically unless cancelled before the trial ends.

During that trial, check conversation at the service point, repetition across the shift and the schedule at an actual changeover. An attractive sample and a checked feature list are useful first steps; the operating test shows whether the choice fits your room. Public previews alone do not grant venue-playback permission.

  • If familiar artists or playlist transfer are essential, assess Soundtrack's actual catalogue and plan.
  • If an original instrumental direction fits, test Open Hours across your opening hours.
  • If you need several locations or separate simultaneous zones, resolve their scope and cost before switching.

Put it into practice.
