A rhythm for the working day

Match the moment, not just the genre.

01

Opening the doors

Try soft soul, light acoustic textures or gentle jazz while the room fills. A small, consistent sound can feel welcoming without competing with the coffee machine or the first conversation.

02

The lunch-hour lift

Bring in a little more rhythm as the pace picks up. Lighter disco or bossa-inspired selections can add movement while leaving staff and customers comfortable speaking.

03

An easy afternoon

Move towards warmer, less insistent tracks as customers settle in. Consider whether your afternoon is about laptop work, long conversations or a quick stop between appointments.

Save a daily schedule in your account. The venue player follows it while the browser stays open and your device stays awake.

Make it work in your space

Choose music for the way you actually operate.

Build around the room’s natural sound

Listen from the counter, the doorway and a seated table. Grinders, hard surfaces and a busy service can make a track feel very different from the way it sounds in headphones. Set the level in the real room, then check it again when it fills.

Keep the character consistent

A clear musical direction often matters more than a playlist full of recognizable songs. Choose a few related sounds for the day so a calm acoustic track is not followed by an unexpectedly forceful beat. Give staff an easy way to change programme when the room changes.

Less music admin. More atmosphere.

A few useful answers

Questions about music for cafés.

What kind of background music suits a café?

Start with the atmosphere and how customers use the space. Soul, jazz, acoustic and softer electronic selections offer different textures; the useful choice is the one that fits conversation, service and your café’s personality.

Can I use different music for breakfast and afternoons?

Yes. In your account, choose stations or collections and set times for breakfast, lunch and afternoons in the venue schedule. Keep the browser workspace open and the device awake for playback. The public day planner is a separate draft saved on this device; it does not start music by itself.

What does royalty-free business music mean here?

Our direct licence includes the covered catalogue and business uses in your subscription, without a separate royalty invoice from us for every covered track or play. It does not mean unrestricted use or automatically remove local requirements. Your country offer explains its scope before purchase.

How much does it cost?

Each plan covers one venue and one stream, billed monthly or yearly, and starts with a 7-day free trial. The pricing page lists the price for each country before you sign up.

Can I use a preview in my business now?

No. Published samples are for listening on this website while you assess the sound. They do not grant venue-playback or redistribution rights. Playing music in your business needs an active plan.

Is the service limited to the language I’m browsing in?

No. Your preferred language, the country where music plays and the type of use are separate. We are building for businesses globally and reviewing local offers as they become ready. Tell us your location and needs in the enquiry form.

Keep exploring.
