A rhythm for the working day

Match the moment, not just the genre.

01

Arrivals and reception

A soft, welcoming selection can provide continuity around greetings and short waits. Keep voices clear at the desk and consider how the sound carries into neighbouring work areas.

02

Shared working periods

Try restrained instrumental selections where the team wants music. Some tasks or colleagues may call for quieter areas instead; make a shared choice rather than assuming the same programme suits every workspace.

03

Breaks and social areas

Give a kitchen or lounge a different energy if it has a separate output. Brighter soul or relaxed electronic music may suit a social area while other parts of the office stay quiet.

Make it work in your space

Choose music for the way you actually operate.

Agree on the listening arrangement

Ask the people using the room where music is welcome and where it competes with calls or concentrated work. Test the actual speaker coverage. A programme is only useful if its level and reach suit the shared space.

Keep meetings and media separate

Background music in an office is not the same as adding music to a company video, livestream or presentation recording. Describe those needs separately. Check the offer’s allowed use rather than treating every business activity as interchangeable.

Less music admin. More atmosphere.

A few useful answers

Questions about music for offices.

Should office music be instrumental?

It can be a useful preference when lyrics compete with reading or conversation, but it is not a universal answer. The room’s users, tasks and speaker coverage should guide the choice, with quiet spaces where needed.

Does an office background-music plan cover our marketing videos?

Do not assume that it does. Incorporating a recording into a video or other media is a separate use to identify before selecting an offer. The background-music service and any custom commission will need their own stated scope.

What does royalty-free business music mean here?

Our direct licence includes the covered catalogue and business uses in your subscription, without a separate royalty invoice from us for every covered track or play. It does not mean unrestricted use or automatically remove local requirements. Your country offer explains its scope before purchase.

How much does it cost?

Each plan covers one venue and one stream, billed monthly or yearly, and starts with a 7-day free trial. The pricing page lists the price for each country before you sign up.

Can I use a preview in my business now?

No. Published samples are for listening on this website while you assess the sound. They do not grant venue-playback or redistribution rights. Playing music in your business needs an active plan.

Is the service limited to the language I’m browsing in?

No. Your preferred language, the country where music plays and the type of use are separate. We are building for businesses globally and reviewing local offers as they become ready. Tell us your location and needs in the enquiry form.

Keep exploring.
